Takes 2 portrait photos of 1.5 x 2.5 inches (4 x 6.5 cm) each behind the glass covers. The mini picture frame is free standing only. Overall frame dimensions are 5 x 3.5 inches (13 x 9 cm), when open and flat. The frame border is approximately 12mm wide all the way around. The back of the frame is covered in a black velvet effect material and just slides off making inserting photos a simple process. The miniature photo frame is double hinged in the middle so you can easily position and adjust it the way you prefer when freestanding and it also folds in half for convenient storage / travel.
